Terms and Conditions for Alaki Therapy
1.Definitions
Alaki Therapy, located in Noordwolde, Friesland, Chamber of Commerce number 90769414, is referred to as the therapist in these general terms and conditions.
The counterparty of the therapist is referred to as the client in these general terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Appointments:
All massage sessions are by appointment only.
Bookings can be made through online booking.
A minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
3. Health and Medical Information:
Clients are required to provide accurate and up-to-date health information before each massage/ cranio sacral therapy session.
The client is required to communicate any alterations in their health status to the therapist. The client is solely responsible for any adverse effects on their health resulting from a failure to inform about their health condition. Failing to communicate such conditions to the therapist may impact the sessions and the therapist cannot be held responsible.
4. Payment and Fees:
Payment is partly done in advance and the rest to be paid during a session or can be fully paid in advance online.
Accepted payment methods include cash, tiki or bank transfer.
A 100% fee will be charged for late cancellations or no-shows.
5. Confidentiality:
Client information, including health records, will be kept confidential.
Exceptions may include situations where disclosure is required by law.
To uphold the client's privacy and acknowledge the sensitivity of the matters discussed, all occurrences and conversations within the practice space are treated as confidential and confined to that space. Any disclosure outside of this context will only occur in fully anonymized form to ensure complete non-identifiability.
6. Code of Conduct:
Clients are expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner during the massage/therapy session. Smoking and alcohol consumption are not allowed during a session.
The costs of damage to the therapist's property by the client will be charged to the client.
Any form of assault on the therapist by the client will be reported to the police at all times.
Any inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the session, and the full fee will be charged.
8. Scope of Practice:
The therapist will discuss the treatment plan with the client, and sessions will be within the scope of therapy practice offered. Therapist may suggest inclusion of other methods of practise so client may benefit fully in a session, and these are in accordance with the client.
9. Personal Belongings:
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.
Alaki Therapy is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
10. Termination of Services:
Alaki Therapy reserves the right to refuse or terminate services for any reason.
Refunds will be provided at the discretion of Alaki Therapy.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Alaki Therapy reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
By booking a session with Alaki Therapy, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
